Mr. Bruton, Chief Engineer of Talk Radio Network (TRN), flew to Iraq to engineer a live talk show broadcast from that area! "Just getting in and out of the area by the brave flight crew of the 130-transport was a memorable and challenging part of the experience ...", WHY, you ask? Cheif Bruton said, "... no, it was NOT mosquitoes! It would have been RPGs or anything else the insurgents could throw at the military while taking of and landing there."Helen V. Horning, 96, of Bern Township, formerly of Shillington died Jan. 1, 2012, in Berks Heim, where she had been a resident since January 2010. Her husband, Andrew C. Horning, passed away in 1970.
